As part of the
Bowie Blade Pic Project, I've been posting pictures taken by Arnie Miles for the Bowie Blade between 1973 and 1975. Here are a set of pictures that were taken of an accident scene in or near Bowie in the early to mid 1970s. I haven't been able to identify the location. Can you?

A pick-up truck rolled off the road and into a field. The high-tension power lines in the background offer one clue. The power-lines run north and south through Bowie, paralleling Route 197, Highbridge Road and Church Road in some places. The spot in the grass above the cab almost looks like a sand trap at a golf course.

It doesn't appear to be a golf course as there is a horse in the field. The barn and the garage offer more clues.

In the the distance appears to be either two barns or a barn with a cupola.
