I think this photo was taken along Route 197. If you zoom in, you can see a sign in the top right corner of this picture that says "Rockledge." I'm guessing that was the sign for Rockledge Elementary School.
It looks like the "Giant" sign is going up. I assume this is Freestate Mall. You can make out the letter "W" to the left. I'm not sure if the Woolco sign previously hung in this spot, although Woolco was still around after 1973.

ReplyDeleteIf response to the House question that looks like the Mile's house. We lived on a hill and you can see the neighbors are lower and that house does look like the one next door. Arnold has to have more pictures than this, he was always taking photos.
