Santa Rides Through Bowie

The sounds of sirens, air horns and bells can be heard throughout the early evening in Bowie this week. The Bowie Volunteer Fire Department is continuing their annual tradition of escorting Santa through the neighborhoods to pick up donations for the Bowie Food Pantry and to pass out candy canes to the kids. 1. That's a great idea. A nice tradition indeed. Shows the true spirit of Christmas. :)

  2. Intrepid, definitely. The kids love it. The kids must go to the window 50 times because you hear the sirens on other streets, and you think they're getting close when they're not.

  3. Yaaay, he's here! But he came so early.... I'm confused. Well I guess he has plenty of time to go back to the North Pole to get all the toys.

  4. Cyndy, yeah, it would be even more confusing if you see more than one as you're driving through town. Somehow it all makes sense to the kids.
