1970s Accident Scene on Race Track Road

As part of the Bowie Blade Pic Project, I've been posting pictures taken by Arnie Miles for the Bowie Blade between 1973 and 1975. Here are a set of pictures that were taken at an accident scene on Race Track Road near Hilltop Plaza in the early to mid 1970s.

A tow truck operator from Ray's Towing uprights a "step van" that overturned on Race Track Road. The photographer was facing southwest toward Annapolis Road (Route 450). The cape seen on the right is on the corner of Rack Track Road and Victoria Heights Drive. The intersection with Idlewild Drive is visible on the left.

Hilltop Plaza is barely visible above the van.
