Man, oh, man. I had a bike like that.
ReplyDeleteYou mean a three-speed with the banana seat and sissy bar? I had a single speed with the lower sissy bar and white wall tires, and then I inherited a three speed at some point.
ReplyDeleteYeah. The gear shifter was a handle on the cross-bar. The bike was purple and the banana seat was sparkly. It was a hand-me-down and I was devastated when it was stolen.
ReplyDeleteYour post prompted me to look through my old pictures because I knew I had a pic of the one speed with the banana seat and white wall tires. I found the pic, but I can't find all of my old negatives of Kodak 110 film. I'm bummed because I think I might have thrown out all the old negatives years ago thinking I would never need them again.
