Food Network Visits Old Bowie Town Grille

The Old Bowie Town Grille announced yesterday on its e-mail newsletter that two producers for a new Food Network series visited the restaurant for possible casting for an episode that would film later this year. The show is seeking family run restaurants in need of a makeover. The show sounds familiar to Restaurant Makeover, a Canadian show that is no longer in production.

The following note came from the Old Bowie Town Grille newsletter:

Yes, you heard it right! Two producers for a new Food Network Restaurant Makeover Series visited the Old Bowie Town Grille this morning for potential casting in the show that would shoot this summer and fall. They are looking for family run restaurants that are in need of a boost in customers, good reviews and overall revenue. We have managed to hang in there for over 4 years, but our remote location sometimes works to our disadvantage. Just the publicity alone from the show would provide a significant boost. The visit went really well and we hope to hear back from them soon. If you were a Celebrity Food Network Chef, what changes would you recommend?"
