Free Concert Outside the Bowie Town Center Food Court
Cosine will perform original R&B/Jazz tunes live from 7pm-9pm. Cosine features Mark Brooks on guitar, Eddie Brooks on drums, Ernie Oz on bass and Lillian on vocals. The Town Center recommends that you bring your own lawn chair.

"Opera in the Woods" at the Bowie Playhouse
July 13th to 17th at 7pm. Performances of “Le Nozze de Figaro” (The Marriage of Figaro) will be presented at the Playhouse by the Maryland Opera Society. They will also present fully staged, major scenes from the works of Gilbert and Sullivan, Frank Loesser, and Rodgers and Hammerstein. For more information, visit the Opera Society’s Web site. ilyAIMY Performs at Old Bowie Town Grille
ilyAIMY (I love you and I miss you) performs percussive acoustic/folk/alternative rock from 8:30pm to close at the Old Bowie Town Grille. Below is a video of ilyAIMY performing Crazy as a Good Thing. Click here to see ilyAIMY cover the Beatles' We can Work it Out. This has to be the most unique covers of any Beatles' song.





Light of the Night at Whitemarsh Park
"Light of the Night", 8:45 p.m. at Whitemarsh Park. Children of all ages are invited to join a Park Ranger in learning about things you might see and hear at night. Take a short walk, then finish up by making a light. The program is free. Registration is required. Email amartinek@cityofbowie.org.

Free Hip-Hop/Rock Concert in Old Bowie
The Saturday Old Town Bowie Summer Concert Series continues with a performance by The Movers 2pm to 4pm in Town Green Park. The event will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Campfire Story at Whitemarsh Park
Campfire Story, 7:30 p.m. at Whitemarsh Park. Gather around a campfire for a children’s story and roast marshmallows. The program is free. Registration is required. Email amartinek@cityofbowie.org.

Open from 8am to noon in the Bowie High School parking lot. The farmers' market is held each Sunday through October 31st.


Takoma Park Community Band Performs Free Concert in Allen Pond Park
Come hear the Takoma Park Community Band at Allen Pond Park from 7pm to 8pm. They play classical, popular (e.g., Beatles), show tunes, marches, jazz and Latin music.
