Bowie Farmers' Market
Open from 8am to noon in the Bowie High School parking lot. The farmers' market is held each Sunday through October 31st.

July 4th Festivities Kick-Off at 3pm in Allen Pond Park

Diamond Alley Performs Free Concert in Allen Pond Park
Come hear Diamond Alley play some tunes at Allen Pond Park from 5:30pm to 9pm.

The City of Bowie has issued the following alert for this event:

Please remember to leave your pets at home on July 4th. Pets are not permitted in Allen Pond Park on the Fourth of July due to humane concerns.

City Offices Closed
The City of Bowie has released the following schedule notes for July 5th:

City offices, the Senior Center and City museums will be closed on Monday, July 5th in observance of the Independence Day holiday. There will be no refuse or recycling collection on that date. Pickup resumes on your next regularly scheduled day.

Ice Arena Opens
The City of Bowie made the following announcement:

After a two-month break, the Ice Arena is open again for lessons, open skate sessions and camps. For details and the monthly calendar of events, visit the Ice Arena page on the City website.
