Project Natale Jazzes Up Bowie's Town Green Park

Project Natale played some great jazz this weekend as part of the Saturday Old Town Bowie Summer Concert Series in Town Green Park. This was at least the group's seventh year playing the venue. The crowd was a bit on the light side, but this is a popular vacation week and 2pm on a Saturday afternoon during the summer is not the best time for a concert.

Check out the following short videos from their performance.

Project Natale at Town Green Park

Drummer Lou Natale. Lou is the public face of the band. He introduces the band members and the songs, and he talked with the small crowd during the intermission.

Russell Kirk on sax, and Joe Natale (brother of Lou) on upright bass. Carl Cornwell usually plays sax for Project Natale, but he wasn't at Saturday's concert. Joe is the music director for the group, and he wrote some of the songs performed last Saturday.

Bob Butta on keyboard.
